It was clean, comfortable and good value.
Single bed was small and could have been firmer, guests coming back late were disturbing

Simply no reason to complain, COMFORTABLE stay. Big and luxurious room with a sofa which looked lovely and shower and dresser, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety. Pleasant, exceptional staff towards all guests. Countryside location, relaxing base for discovering Kingston. The restaurant was great, with exceptional food.

wonderful views and great access to beautiful parks nearby
I stayed here recently and loved my spacious room with a fine view of the hills while enjoying a good full English breakfast with a cafetiere of coffee just for me, making it a great start to my day of exploring the local sights so nearby, including the amazing Corfe Castle, just a short stroll away, perfect for city wanderers like me who appreciate landmarks and park views.

The accommodation was usual with the split level giving us a bathroom and lounge on the ground floor and the bedroom up the stairs on the next floor. So it was nice to be able to watch the TV from a sofa and make a hot drink downstairs and retire to bed upstairs. The car could be parked close to the accommodation making loading and unloading really easy and there were also chairs placed in the porch which meant you could sit outside in the sun just by your front door. The whole site was very peaceful and there were lots of places to sit around the site and enjoy the sun and the wonderful views. Breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice and the staff were very friendly and approachable. A blown fuse in a lamp in our room when we arrived was replaced quickly and efficiently. Lots of hot water when needed and lovely bathrooms to soak away the aches of days spent sight seeing and walking.
No complaints at all - although it would have been nice to have been able to see the view from our bedroom instead of the just the trees out the back.

Lovely location - cosily nestled - outstanding views to Corfe Castle from the end of the drive. Accommodation excellent - underfloor heating in our room made it really cosy. We were only there for one night, but would use it as our base again if our favourite Dorset B&B is full!
This isn't a didn't like - please don't think that! - more of a 'take care'. Wet room was brilliant, but I did slip coming out of the wetroom and into the bedroom, as there is a small amount of laminate -style flooring directly here, to prevent boots etc from damaging the carpet. (My teenage son slipped in his wetroom). The rooms are lovely and snug, but do be careful of the temperature that the thermostat is set to, as the towel rail was very hot in my sons' wetroom.

Attentive but not intrusive staff generate a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The courtyard layout of the rooms with onsuites between rooms gave total sound insulation from neighbours. A perfect centre for visiting the Purbeck area,
